I’m Darko Trpevski, a software engineer and architect with more than 16 years of experience building production software.
Today, my work is focused primarily on AI Engineering — building production AI systems, AI agents, RAG pipelines, multimodal applications, and intelligent automation. I’m particularly interested in the engineering around LLMs: architecture, orchestration, context, evaluation, reliability, and getting AI systems to work beyond the prototype stage.
I’m the founder of WaveScale Technologies, where I build AI products and custom software. My current work includes KeepPost, Moonraker, and production AI services developed for OrderMoon.
Before AI became my main focus, I spent many years building mobile and enterprise software. I still enjoy returning to mobile development from time to time — some technologies are difficult to leave behind after working with them for that long.
This blog is where I document what I build and learn: Applied AI, agents, RAG, LLM engineering, system architecture, production problems, and occasionally mobile development.
I prefer writing about real engineering decisions — what worked, what failed, the trade-offs involved, and what I would do differently next time.
Software isn’t everything.
When I’m not building something, I enjoy skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Skiing in particular is something I look forward to every winter.
Sometimes the best way to solve an engineering problem is to stop looking at the screen for a while.
